The Liturgical Arts Academy
TLAA offers training for those who want to learn to chant well, paint better icons and sew beautiful altar coverings in the tradition of the Orthodox Christian Church. The Academy is a one-week intensive program led by experts in the disciplines of Byzantine Chant, Iconography and Liturgical Textile Arts.
Founded by Rev. Fr. Anthony Salzman, Dr. Constantine Kokkenes and Presvytera Christine Salzman, this program is more than just a classroom. TLAA offers a comprehensive atmosphere of prayer, study, fellowship, and communion with other faithful servants who care deeply for the spread of the Church and the worship of the Holy Trinity.
Held at The Diakonia Retreat Center in the mountains of South Carolina is the perfect setting for spiritual renewal, as you overlook the lake, walk the paths and worship in the magnificent Panagia Chapel.
